Through empathy, sisterhood and an extensive knowledge about breastfeeding, my consultant gave me the necessary tools and the confidence to continue breastfeeding even when my baby didn’t want to be breastfed at the breast. With all her support at an affordable cost for Medi-Cal users, I have been exclusively pumping to feed my baby and I am about to meet my goal of breastfeeding my baby for more than one year, giving my baby one of the best gifts I could give him.
