Hi! I'm Robin Kaplan!
I am the founder and CEO of the San Diego Breastfeeding Center and have been an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) for 10 years. Over this time, I have had the honor to work with thousands of breastfeeding and pumping parents through my Center. As a former teacher, I have been drawn towards finding ways to make my classes and workshops that I currently provide to my patients more accessible to families around the world.
I see how overwhelmed parents feel while trying to plan for returning to work and if they only had the right preparation, it would reduce all of this confusion and anxiety. That is why I created this comprehensive, yet easy-to-follow, online course.
I want you to learn from my personal successes and failures as a working breastfeeding parent, as well as 10 years of experiences supporting families to meet their personal breastfeeding goals.
I'm here to help you along your journey! Let's get started!

Testimonial for the Breastfeeding for the Working Family Course
As a first-time mom I knew nothing about pumping. This course provided clear and easily accessible information that alleviated any concerns I had and answered questions I didn’t even know I had until participating in the course. Additionally, I am frequently in the field and felt much more comfortable with the information provided about safe handling and transport of breastmilk to ensure I wasn’t ruining any of that liquid gold I was pumping!
The support didn’t end with the end of the class. Since returning to work I have had questions here and there. Robin has always been happy to answer these questions outside the class setting. The return to work course gave me the confidence to set boundaries and voice my needs to be a mom and an employee. I highly recommend this course for anyone returning to work, whether you are a first-time mom or have done this before. Support like this on this ever-changing journey is invaluable. Thank you Robin!
